Fun for all: the best leisure activities in Stuttgart

Games, fun, fellowship, and Stuttgart? That can't be!" - you may think.

The cauldron-shaped capital of Baden-Württemberg has a reputation for having nothing more to offer than fast cars and the Cannstatter Wasen. For young people, Stuttgart seems to have limited leisure options: going out to eat, going to the movies, or hanging out on the open staircase at Schloßplatz in the summer. But believe me, there's more!

When I was asked the other day what there is to do in Stuttgart, I had to think about it first. Sure, you can go out for a delicious meal, visit the Porsche and Mercedes-Benz museums or take a walk in the park. But that can't be all my city has to offer, can it?

More than just cars

There are plenty of activities in Stuttgart that will make your day. For example, how about a paintball match or a climbing tour at the DAV climbing center? Or how about a game of mini golf, a round of bowling at the Bowling Arena, a round of trampoline jumping at the Spungbude Bad Cannstatt, or a visit to the Escape Room at ExitGames?

If you are more interested in art and culture, I recommend a visit to the art museum, a guided tour through the state theater, or a walk through the historic old town of Bad Cannstatt. Would you like to go for a bike ride through the vineyards around Stuttgart? What about a trip to the Höhenpark Killesberg, where you can enjoy a beautiful view, climb the Killesberg tower, and view the city from above? Or, if you'd rather take it easy, you can relax at the Mineralbad Leuze and enjoy the view of the city.
