The fashion and hairstyle trends that we're not following this year!

Hey fashion enthusiasts! Are you ready for some fashion talk? We need to discuss the four trends we won't participate in this year. Why? Because they simply don't belong in the fashion category, and we'd rather focus on stylish and trendy options.

Last month, the Paris Fashion Week took place, and as always, all eyes were on the celebrities, stars, and influencers sitting in the front row admiring the latest collections of renowned designers like Louis Vuitton, Chloe, and Jacquemus. During the event, the upcoming fashion trends for spring 2023 as well as some later trends for summer were presented. Unfortunately, there are four trends that we will definitely skip this year. Yes, we're talking about capri jeans, bleached eyebrows, weave leave-out, and Birkenstock ballerinas.

Capri-Jeans

Capri jeans? Seriously? We don't know what got into designer Jacquemus when he started this trend, but we think that this pants length simply doesn't belong in the fashion world. Skinny jeans in capri length definitely belong in the schoolyard and nowhere else. It may be trendy for spring, but we definitely prefer long jeans or chic pants.

Birkenstock-Ballerinas

And what about Birkenstock ballerinas? There is no doubt that ballerinas are making a comeback this spring and summer, but let us agree that Birkenstock ballerinas are not the right choice. Yes, they may be comfortable, but that doesn't mean that we have to abandon our style standards. We can wear so many other chic shoe options, and Birkenstock ballerinas are not one of them.

Weave-Leave-Out

We also have to talk about the weave-leave-out haistyle. While wigs nowadays are better than ever in terms of quality and style, there are still some trends that should stay in the past. The weave-leave-out style definitely belongs to that group. We all remember the poorly fitting wigs from 2000 to 2014 and are glad that we can now rely on high-quality and stylish wigs. So why should we choose a look that is simply no longer up to date? We should focus on modern and trendy hairstyles and leave the weave-leave-out style behind.

Eyebrow Bleaching

Last but not least, there is a trend this year that we should all avoid - eyebrow bleaching. I mean, who even came up with that? It just looks ridiculous (in my opinion). When dark-skinned people bleach their eyebrows, some look like aliens or cartoon characters, and who wants to be that?

Maybe you've seen photos of it on Instagram or other social media, and yes, it may look interesting. But don't be fooled - it's just not cool. Some things only look good in photos and online, but not in real life. It's like a selfie filter that just doesn't work in real life. You think you look like a supermodel, but in reality, you look like a clown. And besides the ridiculous appearance, we should also consider what we are doing to our eyebrows. Bleaching can cause itching, redness, and even rashes. But that's not all - it can also cause permanent damage to our eyebrows, such as thinning or discoloration. We don't want that, do we?

But if we resist this trend, we also send an important message: We will not be influenced by social media influencers or advertising that tells us what to do or how to look. We should be proud of who we are and how we look. We should not bend to trends or beauty ideals that do not suit us. Our individuality and self-confidence are the most important things.

Overall, there are so many great fashion trends that we can look forward to that there is simply no reason to choose these four trends. Instead, let's spice up our wardrobe with trendy and stylish options and rock the fashion world with our stunning looks! There are also so many ways to beautify ourselves without resorting to dangerous trends. Stay cool and stay true to yourself!
